Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-Village). Everything went their way against the National Trail Blazers on Wednesday as they made off with a 23-1 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Patriots, who after 18 games remain undefeated this season.
Addy Wright made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Wright was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Camryn Osborne, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most RBI she has posted since April 7th. Tai Mize was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Tri-Village kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.
