There's no place like home for the New Roads Jaguars, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 73-40 win over Lennox Academy at home. That's another feather in the cap for New Roads, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Lennox Academy still got an impressive performance from Andrew Anderson, who scored 17 points.
New Roads' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lennox Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
New Roads will head out on the road to face off against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lennox Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wildwood at 7:00 p.m.
