In what's become a running theme this season, the Heritage Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Trinity School of Texas, posting a 54-12 win at home. The win was just what Heritage Christian needed coming off of a 72-35 defeat in their prior match.
Heritage Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deanna Montgomery, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 steals. Montgomery is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ali Orchard, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Heritage Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Trinity School of Texas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Heritage Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Poetry Community Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Heritage Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Trinity School of Texas, they will head out on the road to take on First Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. First Baptist will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Trinity School of Texas surely won't give up without a fight.
