On Thursday, New Bern are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against West Craven at 6:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
New Bern couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-42 to Havelock.
Last Thursday, West Craven had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 26-12 win over South Central.
West Craven's victory lifted them to 1-1 while New Bern's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if West Craven can add another positive mark to their record or if New Bern can shake off the loss and take the spring out of West Craven's step.
