Marked Tree won the last time they faced East Poinsett County and things went their way on Friday too. The Marked Tree Indians walked away with a 55-47 win over the East Poinsett County Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

East Poinsett County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyrus Reel, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Jacob Gaines, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 11 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Marked Tree's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for East Poinsett County, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6.
