The Bastrop Rams are taking a road trip to  square off against the Forest Bulldogs  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Forest took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bastrop, who comes in off a win.

 Taraji Battle was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Aerianna Williams, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in both of her plate appearances.  Khloe Carr was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases.
