The State Line HomeSchool R Rush entered their tilt with the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. State Line HomeSchool R walked away with a 70-59 win over South Guilford HomeSchool on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, South Guilford HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Kassidy Bullins, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. Bullins has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Kailey Bullins was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
State Line HomeSchool R has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. State Line HomeSchool R will take on Greater Cabarrus S at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greater Cabarrus S will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 488th in North Carolina, while State Line HomeSchool R is ranked 111th in Virginia). As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Surry HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th.
