After soaring to 35 points the game before, The Kingwood Mustangs were a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were dealt a 55-7 defeat at the hands of North Shore. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kingwood in their matchups with North Shore: they've now lost six in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Kingwood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Marquez Davis. Despite the final result, he rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. Davis was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
Kingwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Shore, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Kingwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Shore will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Deer Park at 7:00 p.m. Deer Park is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
