Donyae Washington was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds for Pocomoke. Washington has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 16 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Esham, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Bennett's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.5 points per game. As for Pocomoke, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
