The Commerce Red Raiders will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Commerce took a serious blow against Belchertown, falling 47-14.
Despite the defeat, Commerce had strong showings from Brandon Cotton, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Nathaniel Chacon-medina, who threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes.
Meanwhile, Easthampton/Hampshire lost to Hoosac Valley at home by a decisive 28-12 margin on Friday. Easthampton/Hampshire has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Commerce now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Easthampton/Hampshire, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Commerce was taken down by Easthampton/Hampshire 52-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can Commerce avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
