La Grange has been on the road for ten straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the El Campo Ricebirds at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully La Grange is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Campo in Texas (La Grange is ranked 591st, while El Campo is ranked 1404th).
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, La Grange beat Bellville 43-39.
La Grange found their leader in underclassman Kylie Trlicek, who scored 21 points along with 5 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Trlicek has scored at least 25% of La Grange's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Collier, who scored 3 points along with 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to El Campo, who are still winless after their 11th contest. They had to suffer through a rough 61-22 loss at the hands of Cuero. El Campo was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-9.
The losses dropped La Grange to 8-5 and Bellville to 6-6.
La Grange was taken down by El Campo 65-32 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Will La Grange have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
