Mosley hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Dolphins will square off against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Mosley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Mosley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Chiles, sneaking past 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dolphins have posted against the Timberwolves since April 10, 2019.
Chase Wood made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Xavier Demro was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
Mosley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Lincoln had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory.
AJ Johnson looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Lincoln got a big performance out of Brennan Baisden, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Cody Garber was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Mosley is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, their record is now 17-9.
Mosley might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Lincoln in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Dolphins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
