Among those leading the charge was Kellen Clarkson, who threw for 129 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Andruw Martinez was another key contributor, picking up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Oxford pushed their record up to 5-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23 points. As for Leicester, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxford will challenge Uxbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Uxbridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 346 points over their last eight matchups. As for Leicester, they will head out on the road to face off against Nipmuc Regional at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nipmuc Regional comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
