Academy of Science and Innovation has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Whitney RVT 59-15 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-5.
Academy of Science and Innovation relied on the efforts of Symber Ortiz-Sutton, who scored 21 points along with five steals, and Maiara Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Rodriguez has scored at least 25% of Academy of Science and Innovation's points. Karina Falcon was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Terryville didn't have quite enough to beat Litchfield on Tuesday and fell 27-25. Terryville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Academy of Science and Innovation's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Terryville, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
