The Riverside Christian Wranglers's 31-2 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 54-35 to Dixie County. Riverside Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Wranglers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Willie Clines, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Those four blocks set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Kyle Spratlin, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Riverside Christian's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Dixie County, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Riverside Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Meadowbrook Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meadowbrook Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Dixie County, they will head out on the road to face off against Bell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bell comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
