Whale Branch took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Royal Live Oaks Academy Royal Knights 3-0. The Warriors have beaten the Royal Knights the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Royal Knights has come to flipping the script.

Whale Branch never let Royal Live Oaks Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-22.

Looking ahead, Whale Branch will venture away from home to take on Military Magnet Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal Live Oaks Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' game: after the Warriors face off against Barnwell, they'll take on Royal Live Oaks Academy again at 6:30 p.m. on October 14.
