Fort Recovery waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the St. John's Bluejays with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fort Recovery was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-14.

Fort Recovery found their leader in freshman Kayla Gaerke, who had nine digs and two aces.

Fort Recovery was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matches.

Fort Recovery's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for St. John's, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
