Lone Oak barely beat Commerce the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Lone Oak was the clear victor by a 14-2 margin over Commerce on Tuesday. Considering the Buffaloes have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lone Oak is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lone Oak will head out to challenge Chisum at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Commerce, they will venture away from home to take on Prairiland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Prairiland has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.77 runs per game on average), something Commerce will no doubt try to take advantage of.
