The Felicity-Franklin Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Union Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Felicity-Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Felicity-Franklin, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-39 loss to Georgetown. Felicity-Franklin has not had much luck with Georgetown recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Jace Blackburn put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Marlow, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, West Union beat Clay 54-48 on Saturday. The victory was just what West Union needed coming off of a 80-38 loss in their prior contest.
Felicity-Franklin's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-7. As for West Union, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
Felicity-Franklin beat West Union 67-57 in their previous matchup back in January of 2021. Does Felicity-Franklin have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Union turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
