The Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals lost against the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Eagleton College & Career Academy took a serious blow against the Highlanders, falling 73-37. Eagleton College & Career Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.
Gatlinburg-Pittman was led to victory by Carlos Orr and Ty Glasper. Orr dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Glasper scored 30 points along with four steals. Glasper is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Charlie Yazel was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Eagleton College & Career Academy dropped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagleton College & Career Academy will challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
