After a string of eight wins, Willcox's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Show Low Cougars by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Willcox couldn't push the score so high this time.

Willcox's loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for Show Low, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4-1.

Willcox does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Show Low, they will head out to face off against Highland Prep West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland Prep West's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Show Low's offense will have their work cut out for them.
