Meanwhile, Mechanicsburg waltzed into their match on Wednesday with 12 straight wins but they left with 13. They really took it to Triad for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-43 win on the road. Mechanicsburg has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.
Fairbanks' record now sits at 4-12. Mechanicsburg's record now sits at 14-1.
Fairbanks was taken down by Mechanicsburg 54-19 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Fairbanks was down 32-12.
