The Shawnee Renegades are taking a road trip to take on the Rancocas Valley Red Devils at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Shawnee came out on top against Haddonfield on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Renegades took their contest against the Bulldawgs 7-2. That five run margin sets a new team best for the Renegades this season.

Drew Tenet tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He is becoming a predictor of Shawnee's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 4-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
At the plate, Shawnee saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Ahrens, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Ahrens has hit this season. Kayden Maybury was another, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rancocas Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They skirted past Bridgewater-Raritan 5-3.
Matt Korbich looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Jake Bartletta and Jaylen Alvarez did most of the damage at the plate: Bartletta went 2-for-3 with one run and one double, while Alvarez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Alvarez has posted over his last 11 games.
Shawnee's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4. As for Rancocas Valley, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Shawnee was able to grind out a solid win over Rancocas Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 5-1. Will the Renegades repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
