Shepherd Hill Regional is 1-8 against Shrewsbury since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Shepherd Hill Regional Rams will be staying on the road to face off against the Shrewsbury Colonials at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
After soaring to 40 points the game before, Shepherd Hill Regional were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a serious blow against Grafton, falling 42-12. While losing is never fun, Shepherd Hill Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Grafton is ranked 45th).
Meanwhile, Shrewsbury had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Bridgewater-Raynham with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 21-6. The win was just what Shrewsbury needed coming off of a 48-26 defeat in their prior match.
Grafton's win bumped their season record to 6-2 while Shepherd Hill Regional's loss dropped theirs to 5-3.
Shepherd Hill Regional was dealt a bruising 40-13 loss at the hands of Shrewsbury in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can Shepherd Hill Regional avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
