It was a good run, but  South Lakes unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Washington-Liberty Generals by a score of  2-1. South Lakes was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Washington-Liberty apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2021.

 South Lakes' loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 4-2. As for Washington-Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Lakes will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chantilly at 7:15  p.m.  on April 15th. As for Washington-Liberty, they are on the road again  on Monday to play McLean at 7:15  p.m.
