Bridgeport is 1-9 against Shadyside since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bridgeport Bulldogs are on the road again and play against the Shadyside Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Thursday, Bridgeport took a serious blow against Frontier, falling 74-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bridgeport has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Shadyside came up short against Barnesville on Thursday and fell 45-34. Shadyside has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Shadyside, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Bridgeport took a serious blow against Shadyside when the teams last played back in November, falling 60-27. Can Bridgeport avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
