Brunswick Academy is 8-2 against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Brunswick Academy was handed a eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They skirted past Amelia Academy 4-2. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Brunswick Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Brunswick Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Brunswick Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot in their previous matchup on April 1st, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
