Pueblo East has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on the Pueblo Central Wildcats at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pueblo Central took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pueblo East, who comes in off a win.
 Winning is just a little bit easier when  you work as a team to  rack up 11 more assists than your opponent, a fact Pueblo East proved  on Friday. They snuck past Pueblo West with a  48-44 win.
  Jaden Garcia and  Izaiah Trujillo were among the main playmakers for Pueblo East as the former  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals and the latter  scored 24 points along with six  rebounds. Trujillo continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maddox Villafon, who  scored six points along with nine  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Pueblo Central's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They took a  64-46 bruising from Harrison.
 Pueblo Central's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Xavier Davis, who  scored 13 points along with two  blocks, and  Ladamien Davis who  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals. Davis is absolutely dominating the  steal category: he's  posted at least two every time he's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Jaime Enciso gonzalez, who  scored five points.
 Pueblo East's win  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-11. As for Pueblo Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Keep an eye on the arc in  Tuesday's  game:  Pueblo East  have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season,  having  only  averaged 5.1  threes per game. It's a different story for Pueblo Central, though, as  they've been averaging  only 6.6  threes per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Pueblo East came up short against Pueblo Central when the teams last played  back in February of 2023, falling  60-50. Can Pueblo East avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
