Basketball Recap: Eden Takes a Loss

If Eden was feeling good fresh off their 65-38 takedown of Evant two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eden Bulldogs had to suffer through a 70-39 loss at the hands of the Grape Creek Eagles. The Bulldogs lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 49-46 score last time.

Eden moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Grape Creek, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Eden will challenge Menard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grape Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-45 defeat against Harper on the 28th.
