The Cordova Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Locust Fork Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cordova is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, Cordova suffered a rough 63-43 defeat at the hands of Hamilton. Cordova has struggled against Hamilton recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Locust Fork waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Cleveland 78-27 at home. Considering Locust Fork has won six contests by more than 32 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Locust Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faith Evans, who went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 0 assists. The contest was Evans' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cortlyn Williamson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 assists.
Dora's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Cordova's loss dropped theirs to 7-1.
