Christian Brothers barely beat Brighton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Purple Wave put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 7-1 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Purple Wave, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Memphis Home Education Association, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let Desoto County Academy get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Monday. With that win, Memphis Home Education Association brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Jackson Keough and Lucas Dennis made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Keough pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Dennis tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Keough also tossed no walks, which is notable because Memphis Home Education Association is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 8-10-1 otherwise. At bat, Keough went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Dennis went 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs Dennis has posted since back in March.
