Mason Erikson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out four batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

Erikson's strong effort led Anchor Bay over St. Clair and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
