St. Thomas Academy entered their tilt with North on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the North Polars by a score of 59-50. This was payback for the Cadets, who suffered an 80-74 defeat the last time these two teams met.

St. Thomas Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for North, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Thomas Academy will take on Mahtomedi at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Thomas Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Mahtomedi likes a good challenge. As for North, they are taking a road trip to take on Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hastings' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
