Tuscola lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Peyton Ollis, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ollis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jed West, who scored 21 points along with three steals and two blocks.
It was another big night for Dominick Messer, who scored 30 points along with three steals for Pisgah. Messer is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Jake Lowery, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Tuscola's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Pisgah, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-9.
Tuscola will take on Smoky Mountain at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Tuscola is coming into the match with 19 straight losses at home, meaning Smoky Mountain will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Pisgah, they will head out on the road to challenge East Henderson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Pisgah has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 851 points over their last 12 contests.
