Jefferson moved up to 536 from 593 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southern. The Democrats climbed the ranks as a result of topping Fremont 41-0.
Jefferson extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Pathfinders, 41-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the David Wiltz's team.
Fremont's Edward Flores and Rodney Duncan have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Flores has thrown for 175 yards this season, while Duncan has five catches for 60 yards. Marcus Stamps from the Democrats leads the league in rushing with 600 yards.
A big matchup in Southern this week will be when Santee takes on Jefferson. The Falcons are currently in third, while the Democrats are in first.
Jefferson took down John Washington's team 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
