Alcoa had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders a 10-0 shutout. The Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 contests by six runs or more this season.

Alcoa's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, their loss dropped their record down to 17-17.

As of now, neither Alcoa nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
