Baseball Recap: Cameron Wins Going Away Against Spiro

Cameron lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Spiro, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Yellow Jackets put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-2 win on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Cameron has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 11-2 Panama and 9-5 Talihina (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 66.5% over those games). As for Spiro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Cameron wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Panama on the 11th. As for Spiro, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-10 victory against Talihina on the 10th.
