Hudson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Grace Rutherford out in front who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leonna Hill, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Hernando Christian Academy had strong showings from Neaya Richardson, who scored a point along with 12 rebounds and six steals, and Kelly Wong, who scored nine points.
Hudson's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
