MaxPreps and USA Football to Select High School Players of the Week

MaxPreps and USA Football are teaming up in an effort to promote high school football and highlight accomplishments of student-athletes throughout the entire nation.

The USA Football/MaxPreps Regional High School Football Players of the Week honors eight top high school football performers each week throughout the United States. Every Tuesday during the football season, 5 nominees from each region will be announced and on Wednesday's the 8 region Player of the Week winners will be selected.

Week 2: September 7 - 13, 2015

Week 8: October 19 - 25, 2015 (Nominees) / (Winners)
Week 9: October 26 - Nov. 1, 2015 (Nominees) / (Winners)

MaxPreps will serve as the official statistics and results provider for program. USA Football will select the players each week, based on those statistics provided to MaxPreps.

Each winner receives a certificate and a letterman patch to showcase the honor.

To nominate players, coaches or team administrators must enter the athlete's game stats by Monday evening of each week. High school coaches can obtain an access code for their teams by visiting: www.maxpreps.com/cl.
