If the Stone Bridge Bulldogs were feeling good off their 53-32 takedown of the Potomac Falls Panthers last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Stone Bridge lost to Riverside on the road by a decisive 55-38 margin on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Stone Bridge has scored all season.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sravya Janapati, who scored 13 points. Katherine Streaker was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Stone Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Riverside, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.
Stone Bridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-45 victory vs. Potomac Falls on the 9th. Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
