The School of the Woods Wildcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They walked away with a 41-29 victory over Faith Christian. The win was just what School of the Woods needed coming off of a 50-22 defeat in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Savannah Phan, who scored 27 points along with 5 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of School of the Woods' points. Another player making a difference was Isabella Lamego, who scored 6 points.
School of the Woods' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Faith Christian, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. School of the Woods will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Faith Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bay Area Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
