Baseball Recap: Atlee Has No Trouble Against Patrick Henry

While Atlee put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Patrick Henry. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Patriots. Considering the Raiders have won five contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Atlee and bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Patrick Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Atlee is set to take on their familiar foe Mechanicsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 1.1, the Mustangs 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Patrick Henry will square off against rival Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
