Things haven't been easy for Covington Academy, and their game on Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They suffered a grim 69-44 defeat to Young Americans Christian. The rankings had actually given Covington Academy a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped Covington Academy's record to 1-6. The win makes it two in a row for Young Americans Christian and bumps their record up to 3-6.
Covington Academy does not have any more games currently scheduled. Young Americans Christian will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Windsor Academy.
