In what's become a running theme this season, the Century Centurions gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hardin County 61-28 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Century has posted against Hardin County since February 10, 2020.
Leading Century to victory were Karleigh Jones and Ashton Dillow. Jones scored 22 points along with two steals, while Dillow dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Jones continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Navaeh Mackins, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Century pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Hardin County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Century will take on Goreville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hardin County, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Pope County at 6:00 p.m. Pope County will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
