Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Willow Spring, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Garner on Thursday, sneaking past 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Storm as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Willow Spring saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Anderson II, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave Anderson II a new career-high.
