Chazy is 2-8 against the Knights since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Chazy Eagles will be playing at home against the Seton Catholic Central Knights at 6:30 p.m. Chazy will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Chazy can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They blew past Willsboro Central 56-14 at home. With Chazy ahead 29-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Carly LaPierre was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. Audrey Langlois was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Seton Catholic Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They received a tough blow as they fell 58-39 to Northern Adirondack.
The losing side was boosted by Grace Trombley, who scored 23 points along with two blocks. That was a full 59% of Seton Catholic Central's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Emma Langlois, who scored eight points along with four steals and two blocks.
Chazy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Seton Catholic Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7.
Chazy was able to grind out a solid win over the Knights in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 40-31. Will Chazy repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
