They claimed a resounding 81-11 win over Morristown-Beard on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Morris Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Morris Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mia Pauldo, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Brown, who scored 16 points along with four steals.
Morris Catholic's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for Morristown-Beard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Morris Catholic will take on Life Center Academy in a holiday battle at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at. Hopefully Life Center Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday. Morristown-Beard will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pope John XXIII at 2:00 p.m. on January 13, 2024.
