Grant posted their closest win since April 30th on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Big Rapids Cardinals 8-7. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-3 win on Monday.

Austin Gragg was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Aiden Booth was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Grant is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Big Rapids, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
