Clovis extended their losing streak  to 19  on Friday, dropping their season record down to 1-25 in the process. They lost  10-0 to the Roswell Coyotes. As for Roswell,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-16. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0  runs in those games.
For Roswell's part,  Alani Tarin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  Tarin has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Alayna Tarin was  excellent,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.  Debanhi Hernandez was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  RBI.
As of now, neither Clovis nor Roswell have any future games scheduled.
