MAIS AA District 3 recap Nov. 7, 2012
River Oaks moved up to 197 from 235 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in MAIS AA District 3. The Mustangs were able to make move up by besting Leake Academy 46-39.
River Oaks led the league in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on the Rebels.
River Oaks' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brendan MacGregor has thrown for 252 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Jordan Sutton has six catches for 72 yards. Alex Biedenharn leads the league in rushing with 654 yards.
Robert Hannah's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,338 from 10,652. The advance stemmed from a 46-39 victory over Leake Academy last week.
